Artists

Born in 1979 in Milan, as a child he moved to Rome with his family where he graduated in Business Economics in 2003.
He then moved to New York, where he obtained a Master in Fine Arts at Parsons, the Newschool for Design, in 2005.
In New York, he has been teaching design and visual arts at Parsons and writing reviews for art magazines, including Art in America.
He now lives and works between Milan and New York.

The act of representing one media through another media, like photographing dioramas is, creates a distance, another place where reality and its representation are stretched.

This stretch is what I call "excess of fiction", the very moment (almost a narrative technique) in which the communication between me and my viewers is slowed down, allowing my testimony to emerge.

The leitmotiv of landscape is developed with constant references to the tradition of Modern painting and Literature; but it is also investigated as a way to simultaneously express a physical and a critical point of view.
